Williston Water World - a new outdoor community water park in Williston, North Dakota - opened to the public on July 15, 2025, after years of planning and local fundraising. The park is the result of a major community effort and substantial private donations, and local leaders expect high initial attendance during the opening weeks and throughout the summer season.

The facility's main attractions include a lazy river, multiple water slides, and small family pools with dedicated areas for relaxation. Park planners also installed shallow, in-water lounge chairs under a sun structure - a "resort-style" feature that allows guests to relax partially submerged while supervising swimmers. Staff have completed final preparations and lifeguard coverage is in place for the larger slides and key attractions.

Williston Water World's 2025 admission pricing is very family-friendly: youth (ages 4–21) $3/day, adults (22–59) $8/day, with discounted rates for seniors and veterans. The park's published hours covered a summer season running through August 24, with weekday and weekend schedules adjusted across July and August. Members of the Williston ARC enjoy special access benefits during the season.

Why it matters: a local model with supplier opportunities
Williston's project shows how community funding and public–private cooperation can deliver a mid-scale waterpark that drives local tourism, family activities and seasonal jobs. For suppliers and contractors, parks of this size create predictable demand for pool systems, slide elements, lifeguard and safety equipment, and poolside guest solutions (seating, shade, concession support). The park's strong early attendance and average daily visitor counts point to clear opportunities for vendors that offer fast-install, low-maintenance equipment and reliable service contracts.
