Paramount Pictures and AdventAllen Entertainment have announced an ambitious immersive attraction based on the iconic Top Gun franchise, to be built on an undeveloped site within the STRAT hotel's entertainment tower on Las Vegas Boulevard. The project, a collaboration between Paramount's international markets, global consumer products and experiences division and AdventAllen's creative team, aims to translate the film's adrenaline-fueled spirit into a large-scale, experiential entertainment offering for visitors to the Strip. The experience is slated to open in summer 2028.
Pam Kaufman, President & CEO of Paramount's international markets and experiences division, described the partnership as a significant milestone for the brand's growing immersive portfolio. AdventAllen co-founder Mark Advent added that Top Gun represents "one of the most stirring stories of our era," and that the team is excited to bring the franchise's themes of partnership, precision and the thrill of flight to life for fans and tourists alike. Together the partners say they will fuse cinematic storytelling with cutting-edge attractions to deliver a sensory, narrative-driven showcase.
Although full creative elements are still under wraps, the developers promise a blend of cinematic spectacle and interactive elements that emphasize flying, teamwork and high-performance action. Expect large-scale set pieces, high-fidelity audiovisual effects, and staged sequences that let guests feel the exhilaration of flight - all designed to balance theatrical storytelling with participatory moments. Given AdventAllen's track record in large entertainment projects and Paramount's global IP strength, the installation is likely to combine photo-ready environments, timed show sequences, and layers of interactivity suitable for both fans of the films and general visitors.
For Las Vegas and the hospitality industry, the installation represents a clear continuation of the city's pivot toward immersive, brand-driven attractions that extend beyond gaming and nightlife. Signature IP experiences draw tourists during daytime hours, lengthen dwell time at hotels and malls, and provide compelling content for social media - all attractive outcomes for property owners, operators and concession partners. As the Strip evolves, major franchise-based experiences create new reasons for repeat visitation and differentiated guest offerings.
A natural companion to a flight-centric immersive attraction is high-quality fighter-jet style arcade hardware - the on-site, playable "taste" of aerial action that converts spectators into participants. Our After Burning Arcade machines are engineered to mirror the cinematic intensity of the Top Gun universe while serving the operational needs of high-traffic venues. They feature motion seats or vibration-enabled platforms, force-feedback yokes, multi-button throttle and weapon controls, and configurable physics profiles so operators can tune realism and difficulty for different audiences. Carefully designed lighting and cockpit-style surrounds create a photo-worthy moment that encourages social sharing and increases dwell time in queuing or lounge areas.
Beyond immersion, these arcade solutions are built for scale: cashless payment options and remote telemetry reduce operator overhead; modular cabinets allow single units or multi-station tournament banks; and integrated leaderboards and tournament modes drive repeat play and event programming. In short, fighter-jet arcade cabinets provide a reliable revenue stream that dovetails with the immersive show - guests who arrive for the attraction can warm up with a quick dogfight, families can split time between passive viewing and active play, and venues can run competitions that keep audiences returning.
As Paramount and AdventAllen ready the Top Gun immersive experience for the Strip, hospitality and entertainment operators can maximize the opportunity by pairing blockbuster IP attractions with purpose-built gameplay hardware. The combination of a headline immersive show plus fighter-jet arcade play creates layered guest journeys, drives ancillary spend, and amplifies the overall visitor experience - a practical blueprint for turning cinematic fandom into long-term commercial value.
